This time! We’ve just received exciting news that a certain series—also aired as a spring anime—is going to be made into a live-action film! So, to go along with that, I’m going to introduce five other titles that are already confirmed for live-action adaptations and are definitely worth checking out ahead of time~!

So! The news is that WIND BREAKER, which aired as a spring anime from April to the end of June 2025, is going to be adapted into a live-action film! Since it’s about students fighting to protect their school’s safety, it’s the kind of story that lends itself well to a live-action format—so this is really exciting~! The story will feature a different cast from the stage play, and it seems that the author, Nii Satoru-sensei, is deeply involved in the screenplay as well. The film is scheduled to premiere in December 2025, and I can’t wait!

So! Just like WIND BREAKER, I’ve picked out some recent titles that have already aired as live-action films or have been announced for upcoming live-action releases! How many of these live-action adaptations have you heard about~?

One-Punch Man has already been confirmed for a live-action film in Hollywood! The script is currently undergoing rewrites, but I feel like we’re going to get more updates soon...... So I just had to include it here!

Personally, the one I’m most excited about is 10 Dance!

This is a dance-themed work based on a BL manga. Two dancers, both named Shinya (yes, both protagonists have the same name!), meet in the world of competitive dance and team up to aim for the ‘10 Dance,’ which consists of 10 different dances. The challenge includes five Standard and five Latin dances, requiring both high-level technique and stamina. The two Shinyas teach each other their respective specialties and grow as a dance pair through the story!

One of the real charms of live-action films is getting to see real actors perform action and dance scenes, right? Which titles are you most curious about? Many of them are coming out soon, so definitely check them out!
