Enen no Shouboutai (Fire Force) is set in a world where fire becomes monsters and supernatural incidents involving flames occur frequently. The story follows the special fire force that faces off against these flames and those who misuse them!

Arthur Boyle and Shinra Kusakabe are childhood friends, peers, and members of the same special fire force unit! Arthur Boyle proudly declares that knights are cool, while Shinra Kusakabe believes heroes are cool.

So rather than being close friends, they have more of a rival relationship!

That said, they aren’t hostile to each other—instead, as they work together to solve cases, the mastermind and their intentions come into view......

These two are truly the main characters of the story and a duo worthy of being called the iconic pair!

There are several squads within the special fire force, and Sagamiya Konro and Shinmon Benimaru, who support each other like captain and sub-leader, are a very well-matched and notable duo!

They feel more like a mentor and disciple pair than just a duo—Shinmon Benimaru is the captain of Company 7, while Sagamiya Konro is the lieutenant.

In the past, they worked together on the frontlines to solve fire-related incidents, but now Sagamiya Konro no longer goes into battle.

The duo drawing attention as villains...... or rather mysterious collaborators, is Viktor Licht and Joker!

Joker in particular is a mysterious figure who sometimes opposes Shinra and sometimes cooperates with him.

He is extremely impulsive, and for his goals or whims, he can do inhumane things—making this duo potential enemies or allies.

They have high combat abilities, and their battle scenes are cool, making them a very popular pair~!

And finally! These two are also a popular duo from Company 8, the same unit Arthur Boyle and Shinra Kusakabe belong to!

The story mainly focuses on the members of Company 8, and Akitaru Oubi and Takehisa Hinawa are the notable duo who established this unit!
