This time! Monster Hunter Wilds has already surpassed 8 million copies sold at an incredible pace! I bet some of you reading this are already playing it, right~?

As the name suggests, the MONSTER HUNTER series is a game where you become a hunter and track down monsters! You wield various weapons, investigate creatures roaming the continent, and hunt mysteriously enraged monsters to progress through the story. It’s an incredibly engaging game with a solid narrative!

The MONSTER HUNTER series sometimes gets criticized for having too much story, which can slow down gameplay. But personally, I really enjoyed this one! It portrays monsters as a true threat, showing how hunters must confront them while also studying the untouched wilderness. The breathtaking natural landscapes rendered on PS5 make it even more immersive! And the monsters themselves, depicted with such stunning visuals, feel truly mystical. I usually don’t remember NPC names in Monster Hunter, but this time, I actually paid attention to them and got really invested in the story!

The cat equipment customization is the best it’s ever been! These feline companions assist you on hunts—and they are just too cute! Also, in this game, they talk! (I turned off their voices because it felt weird to me, haha.) You can spend hours just choosing their fur patterns and colors, and the gear options are amazing! Some are super cute, while others turn them into creatures that barely resemble cats anymore......

So, Monster Hunter Wilds has a well-established world, and regular updates have been planned for the next six months or more—meaning we’ll be playing for a long time! If you don’t have a PS5 yet but are thinking about getting one, I highly recommend picking it up with Monster Hunter Wilds as a bundle!
