Everyone! That beloved series is celebrating its 9th anniversary, and a brand-new theatrical film has been announced! This time, it's a prequel!? It looks like we'll get to see the younger versions of those familiar characters!

This news is absolutely incredible! First of all, the release date has already been decided! “KING OF PRISM -Your Endless Call-” is set to premiere on June 27, 2025! Instead of just announcing the start of production, they've skipped ahead to saying it's almost ready for release! Usually, movie announcements begin with “production has started,” but skipping straight to a release in just a few months is so King of Prism!

And what's even more amazing is the storyline! According to the information available so far, a time machine has been developed, and instead of just telling a prequel story, they're actually traveling through time to discover the origins of the Prism Show! The key visual features younger versions of Kurokawa Rei, Norizuki Jin, and Himuro Hijiri, meaning we might get to witness their performances firsthand! Instead of just narrating the past, they're literally traveling back to experience it—so King of Prism! And maybe...... just maybe...... they'll end up performing together!?
