This breaking news about the anime adaptation came from an interview by a certain newspaper. Apparently, two production companies, CyberAgent and Shochiku, are collaborating on Kagurabachi's production!

Recently, CyberAgent has been involved in the production of [Oshi no Ko], while Shochiku is generally associated more with live-action works than anime. So, it was quite surprising that they beat out major anime studios like Toei Animation, Toho, and MAPPA to win this project!

This time, these two companies teamed up for joint production, and it is speculated that the reason they were chosen is their 'strength in overseas expansion.' Kagurabachi is not just a hit, but a breakout hit with exceptional popularity overseas in recent years! These two companies are believed to have been highly rated not only for their anime quality but also for their strength in delivering anime content to overseas fans, on par with Japanese anime fans.
