This time! Additional updates about the anime adaptation of that work have been announced! Let’s review the detailed new information, including hints about the story direction!

First of all! The anime adaptation of Twisted Wonderland is set to begin airing around October 2025! That’s about a year from now. It may seem like a bit of a wait, but perhaps that’s because it coincides with the conclusion of the first part of the main storyline currently unfolding in the game (which I personally call 'Part 1'). With that milestone in sight, the slightly later start date of October 2025 makes sense.

It has also been announced that the anime adaptation will cover up to Chapter 3 of the main story! This means that the incidents unfolding in the dorms of HEARTSLABYUL, SAVANACLAW, and OCTAVINELLE will be resolved by the Prefect. Speaking of the Prefect, though......

Of all the new information, this is the one I’m most curious about! The comic adaptation and game version don’t differ much in terms of storyline (since the comic came out later, it slightly supplements the game’s content), but......

The biggest difference is the Prefect! In the comic adaptation, the Prefect changes with each episode! They’re all humans summoned from the real world to another world and nicknamed 'Yu,' but for example, the Prefect in HEARTSLABYUL is a high school boy from the kendo club.

In the SAVANACLAW arc, it’s a high school girl secretly attending the boys' school disguised as a boy.

In the OCTAVINELLE arc, it’s a high schooler who loves food. Each episode features a completely different protagonist, which is a hallmark of the comic adaptation! Since the anime will follow this version, the Prefect may also change every time, just like in the comic adaptation......

So, while it’s still a ways off, the Twisted Wonderland anime has gotten even more exciting! Be sure to keep an eye out for further updates!
