Announced During the Ace of Diamond 10th Anniversary & Sawamura Birthday Party on 5/18!

It was finally announced! Since the manga version is already completed, I always thought they would eventually make a sequel for the anime too, but it was announced at this celebratory timing of the 10th anniversary!

That's right! To give a bit of an explanation, the manga version of Diamond no Ace (Ace of Diamond) started serialization in 2006 and continued until 2022, making it a super long-running baseball manga! The manga is composed of Part 1 (47 volumes) covering the Summer Tournament Arc, and Part 2 (34 volumes) covering the Koshien Challenge Arc!

Season 2 of the anime covered up to Volume 19 of Part 2 of the manga!
Season 3 of the anime is expected to adapt from there onwards!

Altogether, 81 volumes is quite a lot! How far did Season 2 of the anime cover the manga?

To explain accurately, the anime of Diamond no Ace (Ace of Diamond) has been done in three parts so far! Part 1's first half and second half = this combined is Season 1 of the anime, and the first half of Part 2 = this is commonly called Season 2 of the anime. I predict that Season 3, which has now been announced, will cover from the middle of Volume 19 to the final Volume 34 of Part 2!

Oh~! It seems like there is enough stock to depict everything nicely until the end. Since it was announced now, the 2025 airing theory is quite plausible. 2024 still has the July and October starting seasons left, but it would be too soon to start in either of those.

That's right! So, everyone, make sure to review Diamond no Ace (Ace of Diamond) within 2024! Both the anime episodes and the completed manga are quite voluminous, so please check them out early!
