Yaiba is a series that Aoyama Gosho-Sensei wrote after Magic Kaito and before Meitantei Conan (Case Closed). To briefly explain the story, it's set in modern Japan! It's a classic battle manga about a boy, Yaiba, who aims to become the supreme “Samurai” and battles various enemies using a magical sword. It was an anime long ago too - nostalgic!

In fact, Kid and Conan have already appeared together!
In the original anime version, there was an episode where Kid comes after the legendary sword that Yaiba and others possess, and together with Conan, they stop him!
