Σ(`Д`;≡;゜Д゜)!! “Wow, you want to speak to a dog too, Boss?”

(  'ω') “Not a dog! My lovely adorable daughter!”

( ゚Д゚) “This looks like a dog to me.”

(  'ω') “She doesn’t usually speak, but I understand her.  She is saying, ‘Give me more food’ in this pose.”

ヽ(`д´;)/ “I know she is your adorable daughter, but Love chan is ‘a dog’, isn’t she?!!”

(  'ω') “Hmm... if we have only two options: a dog or a human, I would say a dog.  But I’m giving her as deep a love as I’m giving to humans.”

(`・ω・´) “What if that loved Love chan could speak...?”

(  'ω') “That’s awesome!  I want to know what she’s thinking more!”

(σゝ∀・)σ “Okay then.  Today, I’ll show you some of the anime or games, which might be able to make your desire come true!”

(・∀・) “By the way, what is definition of ‘Personification’?”

‘Personification’ or ‘personification anthropomorphism’ (‘Gijin-ka / 擬人化’ in Japanese) is a metaphoric word used as a way of giving human’s nature or characteristics to the creatures or objects that are not human.

(・∀・) “In short, something that is not a human and has added a human’s figure or element to it, is called a personified thing?  For instance...”

www.meg-snow.com

(・∀・) “Here’s what actually happened.  A Japanese beverage manufacturer looked for the personified illustration for its product above (sweet café au lait) as a project.....”

prtimes.jp

(o'ω`σ)σ “Thanks to our proud Japanese illustrators!  That café au lait changed to such cute characters!”

(  'ω') “Sure.  It became cute characters, following its original product’s colors.”

(・∀・) “During this campaign, I bought this café au lait, just because I just loved the package!”

(  'ω') “’Personification’ has a fantasy-like element, so it is frequently used for the titles or materials of anime and manga in Japan.”

(σゝ∀・)σ “So now!  We’re showing you what kind of personification anime we’ve had so far!”

(  'ω') “I’m telling you.  It’s creepy!!  I know it’s been a long time since we saw this series last but...  It’s just creepy!!!”

※SEAMAN

SEAMAN is a raising type of simulation game, released by Dreamcast and Play Station 2.  The biggest charm of the game is the “sound recognition system”, which was said to be the latest technology at that time.  The player can have a conversation with this fish-like creature.  I (Saori) have played it once but I felt it was a scary game, since it was so creepy at the beginning then I unexpectedly started getting attached to that, seeing that unexpected cute creature growing.

(  'ω') “By the way, is that all that we can show to everybody this time?  I thought there were more.”

(*‘ω‘ *) “Maybe it’s Saori’s lack of information?  But I learned so many things from this “Hetaria”, when I read its manga at my high school days!  This even helped me with a history test too!”

(  'ω') “Right.  Histories or events of each country are drawn in manga-style, so I bet you enjoyed studying it as a material.
